In 2018 Knetterijs was asked by Kunstpunt Groningen to brighten up the Groninger Forum building site in the city centre by creating a nine-panel comic. Put together the panels added up to a parade making its way towards the opening of the Forum, with each panel depicting a different group of the Groningen population. The groups represented were children, athletes, students, business people, musicians, artists, and well-known/famous residents of the city. The last panel portrayed the opening celebration. The comic was the last in a series made by different comic artists throughout the years of construction.

Knetterijs is a group of illustrators sharing a collective studio in Groningen. Each member is active as a freelance illustrator, spending most of their time working on individual commissions, but we also take on projects as a group. Knetterijs works on commissions for clients at home and abroad, for a wide variety of media.
