Jaime and Tsjisse collaborated on two city maps for TAKEaWALK, portraying, true to scale, the Parisian neighbourhood Les Marais and the Gòtic & Raval neighbourhood in Barcelona.

Megan and Senne teamed up with Silo Creative Agency to create a large-scale illustration for Unilever Benelux. The various brands and the history of Unilever are detailed in an illustrated city, which has been put to use throughout the interior of their Rotterdam office.

Knetterijs has a close relationship with local coffee roasters and neighbours Koffiestation. We’ve been creating illustrations for their coffee labels since 2018, every time they release a new type of coffee.

A selection of recent gig posters. A few of our illustrators are regular screen printers at Vera in Groningen, contributing posters for the artists that play at the venue. Other venues, at home and abroad, have also commissioned posters for a variety of events.

In 2018 Knetterijs was asked by Kunstpunt Groningen to brighten up the Groninger Forum building site in the city centre, making a nine-panel comic with each panel depicting a different group of the population of Groningen. The panels added up to a parade making their way towards the opening of the Forum.

Knetterijs is a group of illustrators sharing a collective studio in Groningen. Each member is active as a freelance illustrator, spending most of their time working on individual commissions, but we also take on projects as a group. Knetterijs works on commissions for clients at home and abroad, for a wide variety of media.
